Tableau Visualizations

This interactive data visualization explores my analysis of the 2023 Data Visualization Society State of the Industry Survey, revealing gender-based pay inequity in the field of data visualization, especially in the highest-paying positions. This piece was selected by Tableau as the Viz of the Day on March 28, 2024, and was recognized as a winner in the Explanatory category in DVS's 2023 State of the Industry Survey Challenge.

This project is an interactive exploration of the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index for 2022. The Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index (CEI) is America's premier benchmarking tool that evaluates how inclusive corporate policies, practices, and benefits are for LGBTQ+ employees and their families. Published annually since 2002 by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the CEI uses a 100-point scoring system to rate businesses on their treatment of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer employees, consumers, and investors. This piece was selected by Tableau as the Viz of the Day on August 5, 2022.

This project is a celebration of the Stats+Stories podcast! To commemorate their 300th episode, they shared their episodes dataset and hosted a data visualization competition. I entered the contest and won first place for this piece, built around an interactive radial bubble chart. This visualization was also featured in the May 2023 IronQuest community initiative with the theme of advanced chart types. I had the opportunity to discuss my visualization with the Stats+Stories team on their podcast.
